Cannot start my PC

When power it on..it will go to a  screen for the selection of safe mode, ...Normal mode, select safe mode, there will be error message coming out something like ..multi disk..rdisk..partition, window..driver..

it look like this guy having similar problem with me..at OZZU..

it seem like some driver is corrupted, most likely the dlink, because last couple of day my dlink

did not work well, i have unplug it and direct connect to the modem..the solution here is to uninstalled the driver, then re-install it from the cd, but the issue here is i can't even load the window...?/??

There is somethink talking on recovery console, can read from here..but it is mentioned as advance step..bloody hell, after read, i don't know what is that...!!

Note that only an administrator can obtain access to the Windows Recovery Console so that unauthorized users cannot use any NTFS volume.....

Found another similar problem reported in nocrash..they suggest some registry is missing and need to recover the registry , read here..

My Testing

Running the recovery console

1. insert the xp installation cd

2. boot from cd, let it run

3. at one point enter R (Repair)

4. enter the adminstrator password

5. then come to C:\windows or D:\window (for my case)

6. run chkdsk -r 

wah la..it work now, at least can go into safe mode..reboot now and remove the booting from cd rom ..and restart as normal...

it work.. now..

second time happen when pc suddenly power off, meaning no proper power off, either manually of power supply cut off by suddent. But this time, I can open in safe mode and manage to restore back to the last restoreable check point, then everything back to normal.

Useed to call GH , apparently now called HKL. I think all these because of so called Corporatisation....like UH (University Hospital) change to UMMC (University Malaya Medical Center)..the name sound commercial..Long time never go there..last time went there when I want to seek second opinion on my stomach issues, there being an out patient, basically have the nightmare of waiting then another nightmare for the doc..pressing my stomach so hard like punching in my stomach..

went back there today ..my father need to do a x-ray, that day should have done at the BP Blood Testing Lab..the parking is a nightmare..or i should said is a chaos..the road inside the hospital itself is a chaos, I wonder how they managet he emergency..there are 2 types of parking lot, for stuff only and visitor..not really a consolidated multi-level parking, it is like the spot parking area..like a parking area in west..for about 50 cars or less..then another spot for about 30 ..the rest is like parking at road side..saw one cambry parking just beside the barried..saw one personnel manage to adjust the barrier..light one..that kind plastics chain..and he manage to park there..what is the rules then??

i did not expect the x-ray to be done in so fast..we arrive at about 940am, by the time about 1020am we are done..pretty fast..

termite

found some termite while digging the backyard..thought of called some terminate service provider and fix the problem then called up NLC, last couple years very actively promote..

they have this baiting technology, called Sentricon, most likely coming from German, by looking at the AG stuff..

cannot do as of this method only work if there is a significant sign of termite, meaning when termite already in your house. reason is when this happen then only


they can put the bait there for the termite to bring back some active ingredient to the nest for the rest of the fellow and Queen...

Hentian Duta

Was at Hentian Duta to purchase a ticket for my dad back to Pendang. The location is better then Pudu of course, cannot deny that, but there is hardly more then 50 parking lots. I cannot imagine a Bus Terminal in a remote area without parking lot, how they expect people to go there, by bus, no way for me. Hence there are many illigal parking at road side. It seem we are still far far away from China in term of transportation management or more specifically Bus Terminal Management. The authority should make a trip to developed coutry or at least near by neighbor - Singapore to learn how they manage to have the world class bus terminal.

Try to print the photo from a gloss paper, not success. Can find the user guider here.  Finally printed successfuly, by adjusting the paper feeder to fit the 4x6 in gloss paper. Also I did set the printing preference.
