About Us
Green Wish Vegi Garden is a 3.5acre
organic farm located near Chenderiang, Perak. The farm started production in
2007 and currently sells fresh organic vegetables & fruits to direct
customers and selected retailers.
We grow
various types of vegetables and fruits using organic methods. There is no
agro-chemicals used and we only feed our soil with our farm-made natural
fertilizers.
Our farm is
located in close proximity to several wonderful natural sights such as
limestone caves and refreshing waterfalls. We combine our farm visits with
these outdoor gems as part of our education and awareness outreach.
Limestone
Caves
The state of
Perak is blessed with plenty of limestone caves. Nearby to us are two notable
caves – Gua Kandu and Gua Tempurung.
Gua Kandu is our playground for visitors to
experience a taste of adventure caving. The multiple entrance and passageways
cave was a guerrilla hideout during the Emergency days. Today it is open to
public who don’t mind getting a bit dusty and dirty as they walk, climb and
crawl through its natural inner sanctum.
Gua Tempurung is the largest cave in
Peninsular Malaysia and well-known as a show cave. Proper walkways and lighting
infrastructure has been installed to make it easier for everyone, both young
and old to view its spectacular cave formations.
Waterfalls
Lata Kinjang is located just 5km away from
our organic farm. It is one of the tallest waterfall in Malaysia and can be
clearly seen as one drive past Tapah towards Ipoh along the North-South
highway. It is a popular spot for picnics and those who enjoy swimming in its
cool waters.
Salu Waterfall is a smaller set of waterfalls
located between Kampar and Gopeng. The shallow waters are more popular with
families with younger children.
Staying
at our farm
We welcome
visitors to stay at our basic & clean 2-room guesthouse. The guesthouse is
equipped with attached bathroom & toilet, and a large living space which
serves as additional sleeping quarters. We offer guests the opportunity to
experience the simple life of staying on the farm.
The guesthouse
opens out to a huge open dining & recreation area. Guests can opt to chill
out whilst enjoying a cup of hot tea or sweat it out over a game of table
tennis. The covered cemented area also serves as additional sleeping quarters
for those who enjoy sleeping out in camping tents.
We serve
vegetarian meals in our premises using fresh farm produce and nearby jungle greens
such as petai and paku-pakis. Guests are assured that the meals are not only delicious,
but a healthier choice.
