Kindly note that if you are going to the US for business purpose for a short period of time, you can apply for a B1/B2 (business visit) visa.



If you are a Malaysian passport holder, it is advisable for you to apply in Malaysia .




  • In order to apply for a non immigrant visa, you need to visit the Alliance Bank along with a copy of the passport bio-page and the Application Fees of USD 131 (equivalent in RM 500) and Logistic fees of RM32 towards VFS at any of the Alliance Bank branches.

  • Please note that in order to utilize the receipt, you have to wait for one working day after the payment is made. You can log on to our website www.vfs-usa-my.com to schedule an appointment. Kindly fill up, download and print all necessary forms as per the visa category you are applying for.

  • Visit the Embassy on the day of the interview along with the required documents as per the visa class.



You will be able to print out an Interview Confirmation Letter and a Checklist after you have successfully scheduled an interview appointment. A checklist is a list of basic documents that you need to bring along with you for the interview.
